Metro South Education District and EduPower Foundation hosted an engaging Visual Literacy Workshop for teachers on 29 May 2026. Acclaimed filmmaker Riaz Solker shared his expertise in filmmaking with 70 teachers, providing practical insights into visual storytelling and media analysis.

MSED and EduPower Foundation invited acclaimed poet and playwright, Zubayr Charles to offer teachers a fresh and inspiring perspective on teaching, writing, analysing, setting and marking poetry. His engaging and thought-provoking session left teachers feeling energised, hopeful, and refreshed. The experience was so captivating that the five hours flew by in what felt like moments.
